Synopsis

The Headmaster War of 2011 has come to a end, leading to the Masterforce War. Fortress contacts Metalhawk to check up on things on Earth, now that Chromedome has arrived there. Not too long after, a whirlpool erupts by the Bomber Project facility, and Ginrai fights the mighty Grand King Poseidon with his Autobot Masterforce comrades. Unbeknownst to them, two mysterious ships have entered Earth's atmosphere.

On planet Six, Weirdwolf panics about a third enemy, neither Autobot or Decepticon. Sixshot just dismisses his concerns, to the Headmaster's consternation.

At the Godbomber factory, the two vehicles attack and are revealed to be piloted by humans Jin and Mirai, who seek to "change the Earth" by driving off the ancient and decrepit Transformers. Originally vagrants, they were brought into Giga and Mega's band of Decepticons, but took the newest Master-Braces and ran off. Declaring "Transform Darts", they "Get On" the just-appeared Super Megatron, acting as cannons for the Decepticon leader. To his amusement, Megatron declares that his allies have evolved beyond "Super-Gods", becoming "Super-Soul Masterforce". Metalhawk and Chromedome, the factory's only two defenders, are unable to deal with their powerful foe.

Fortune strikes for the Autobots as the other Headmasters arrive on the scene with Godbomber's Godcannon. With it, the Autobots blast off Jin and Mirai off Super Megatron. The Decepticon leader retreats and Jin comes to the hurt Mirai's aid. The events of the day are not recorded in the history of the Great War, with only Metalhawk and the Headmasters knowing of it.

Later, while walking around in his human guise, Hawk spots Jin and Mirai enjoying the Christmas festivities. Acknowledging how short life is, he privately entreats them to love and care for each other.

Notes

Continuity notes

  • The specific chronology (or even continuity) of this story is unclear, but considering this story's creators and Godbomber's construction being a plot point, one could reasonably assume it takes place between issue #6 and issue #7 of the Super-God Masterforce comic.
