Hyperdrive's design is a stylized version of his Generation 1 counterpart's War for Cybertron: Siege toy, but with with minor stylistic tweaks such as horns akin to Prime Cliffjumper.
Similar to Skywarp and Cosmos, Hyperdrive's gender has been inverted for Cyberverse.
Hyperdrive's identity was confirmed on Goff's Twitter account.^[1]
