G-Metal (ジーメタル Jīmetaru) is a rare substance found on planet Master. Virtually indestructible, it was targeted by Scorponok to use in the creation of a shield that could repel the Master Sword.

Notes
- It is entirely possible that the name "G-Metal" was meant to be rendered as "Z-Metal" in English, since ジー is used to approximate the English "zee" sound in Japanese, despite sounding more like "jee" when spoken phonetically. Not to mention that the metal's sole purpose in The Headmasters cartoon was to be used to create the Zarak Shield. However, the longstanding fandom belief that it was indeed named "G-Metal" led to it being rendered as such in the subtitles for all of The Headmasters DVD sets, and then officially used in the bios for a number of Transformers: Timelines toys.
