Seriously?

Aw, man - are we really going to have to have a Zobovor article? -hx 17:31, 9 March 2011 (EST)

That depends. What, exactly, did he do in regards to the Rhino releases of the cartoon? (Also, we have any actual proof he invented those terms? Last I checked his claims of inventing the GPS term came under scrutiny) --Detour 17:47, 9 March 2011 (EST)
Also, I'm pretty sure the term "pseudo-canon" existed outside of Transformers before Zob introduced it. -hx 17:58, 9 March 2011 (EST)
I'm also detecting an unwarranted undercurrent of mean-spiritedness in the article text. But I suppose that might just be humour I'm misinterpreting. - Chris McFeely 18:29, 9 March 2011 (EST)
If he were closer to our group, I think the "obsessive-compulsive" line would come across less harshly - kettle, pot, etc. But knowing that several editors really dislike the guy, it does seem unjustifiably mean. I wouldn't be surprised if he's called himself that, but if that's the case, we could really use a cite to let readers know we're not bashing him out of nowhere. - Jackpot 18:50, 9 March 2011 (EST)
(Barring the notion that the anon who created this wasn't Zob himself, of course.) - Chris McFeely 19:16, 9 March 2011 (EST)
Of course. But the average reader isn't going to research the page-history or, having done so, make that assumption. Edit: On the other hand, the average reader isn't going to know about the bad blood between him and certain editors, so.... eh, I don't know. I'd still err on the side of taking it out. - Jackpot 19:23, 9 March 2011 (EST)
I'd rather not be bashing Zobovor on this page, for what it's worth. --Jimsorenson 22:22, 9 March 2011 (EST)

It's 2021, and he still hates TFWiki, saying on alt.toys.transformers that it has utterly destroyed Transformers fandom with its misinformation. Dvandom (talk) 13:03, 10 April 2021 (EDT)

"many observations about the G1 cartoon series, its voice actors, etc. that the fandom now considers common knowledge"

I deleted that line because it's a big claim to make without evidence, but I don't think it's necessarily untrue. Besides the GPS thing, which the article documents quite well now, can anyone think of other specific Zob "firsts"? - Jackpot 20:02, 9 March 2011 (EST)

One specific example he pointed out on ATT a while back is the blooper with C-3PO's voice being audible on a sound effect in "Starscream's Ghost", which he had mentioned on his site back in 2002. --abates 20:38, 9 March 2011 (EST)
Though I can't help but think we may be over-thinking this. Couldn't we just say he was the first person to start cataloging G1 cartoon bloopers on the internet (was he the first or were there other sites out there doing it?) --abates 21:22, 9 March 2011 (EST)
Zobovor was the first Transformers wiki. --ItsWalky 21:35, 9 March 2011 (EST)
