Plasma cannons are weapons which fire bursts of plasma at opponents.
Fiction
Generation 1
Quake's primary weapon in tank mode is his turret-mounted plasma cannon with a range of 40 miles. His allies would be more impressed with it, if he wasn't just as likely to blow them up as a platoon of Autobots. Longtooth's inner robot is armed with a hand-held plasma cannon.
Beast Wars
The Axalon was equipped with a plasma cannon. When it became apparent that the ship was falling into an unnamed planet's atmosphere, Optimus Primal ordered that the plasma cannon be fired on the fleeing Darksyde. The blast successfully crippled the Predacon vessel. Beast Wars (Part 1)
The almighty Shokaract wields his own personal plasma cannon. Shokaract's toy bio

A plasma thermal accelerator module can be used as a plasma cannon. One was located in one of Windblade's caches, and was retrieved by the Stunticons who used it for this purpose. Moon Breaker
Games
War for Cybertron

The Plasma Cannon was a favored weapon of Scout and Cloaker class Transformers during the Great War. It released bolts that could be charged to higher intensity levels. The Plasma Cannon was most effective against big, slow-moving targets, like hovering Soldiers or Trypticon. Transformers: War for Cybertron

- Bumblebee (Dark of the Moon Walmart exclusive, 2011)
- This version of Deluxe-Class Bumblebee in his Concept Camaro form comes with a mostly accurate version of his plasma cannon as it appears in the movie, but for added play value, it can Automorph into an energy blade by opening up the halves of the gun barrel and swinging them back. The cannon can be held in either of his hands and can be stored in the gap between his legs in vehicle mode.
- Care should be taken when removing the cannon from Bumblebee's hands, as excessive force can damage the wrist ball joint socket.

- Bumblebee (Dark of the Moon Toys"R"Us exclusive, 2011)
- Bumblebee is a retool of the Deluxe-Class Camaro Concept Bumblebee mold. Among various changes, his right arm has been retooled to accommodate a built-in spring-loaded plasma cannon, replacing the converting plasma cannon/blade weapon from the previous version of this mold.
- Strangely, the missile for his right arm was slightly too long for the slot in the arm itself, so it either had to be slightly cut down to fit or the cannon had to be swiveled outwards to accommodate the missile. (This has been fixed in later releases, such as the European market).

- Cyberfire Bumblebee (2011)
- Tritanium Bumblebee (Lucky Draw figure, 2011)
- Bumblebee is an entirely new figure. In addition to the cosmetic changes made to the vehicle mode and robot mode to resemble the third movie's altered visual design, this Bumblebee also comes with a MechTech weapon. When a lever is pulled back on the "Blaster" weapon, it opens up into a larger "Plasma Cannon", but it springs back into its original position once the lever is left alone. The MechTech weapon can be held in his hands, attach via 5mm pegholes/MechTech ports on his forearms, or plug in a "concealed" 5mm peghole on the vehicle mode's roof.

- Nitro Bumblebee (MechTech Deluxe, 2011)
- Japanese ID number: DA18
- Accessories: MechTech Cybertronian Boost Engine/Plasma Cannon
- Nitro Bumblebee is an all-new mold, featuring booster engines, armour plating and other Stealth Force-like design elements sculpted onto the vehicle mode.
- He comes with a MechTech Boost Engine, which converts into a Plasma Cannon when the lever is pulled, and although it is similar in function and appearance to Skids's MechTech blaster, it is in actuality an entirely new mold. He features five MechTech ports in vehicle mode: one on the hood, two of the roof and two behind his rear wheels. In robot mode, both of his arms have one MechTech port each, and the ports from vehicle mode can still be used.

- Streetside Bot Brawl (Multi-pack, 2011)
- Accessories: MechTech Blaster/Plasma Cannon
- Part of the Toys"R"Us-exclusive "Streetside Bot Brawl" three-pack, this battle-damaged redeco of the initial Dark of the Moon Bumblebee toy was sold with redecos of Dark of the Moon Voyager Shockwave and Dark of the Moon Voyager Optimus Prime. He now comes with a redeco of Skids's MechTech Blaster, which converts into a double-barreled Plasma Cannon when the scope is pulled.

- Japanese ID number: DA01

Robo Fighters

- Bumblebee (2011)
- Elite Guard Bumblebee (2011)
Prime
Voyager Class toys

- Optimus Prime (Voyager, 2011)
- Accessories: "Cybertronian battle sword", "plasma cannon"
- Aside from a sword, Optimus Prime comes with a plasma cannon (based on the in-show Ion Blaster) which can peg into his hands. The cannon (and the sword, for that matter) completely sheathes his hand, to simulate the appearance of integrated weaponry. It is stored in vehicle mode by pegging it onto either the trailer hitch, or onto each peg-hole beside it, although the instructions tell you to nominally peg the cannon facing backwards onto one of the side pegs. Additionally, the cannon features a 5mm peg-hole on the underside of its barrel, allowing the sword (or any other compatible accessory) to mount there as a bayonet.
- His stock photography shows his plasma cannon as being solid black, when the final cannon is black speckled with silver paint, with slightly more painted silver details on the tips of the barrels.
Age of Extinction

- Bumblebee (Evolution 2-Pack, 2014)
- Bumblebee (Deluxe, 2014)
- Autobots United (Platinum Edition 5-pack, 2014)
- Bumblebee (Deluxe Class, 2017)
- Bumblebee (Toys R'Us "Midnight Madness" exclusive, Deluxe Class, 2017)
- Arm Gun Bumblebee (Movie The Best, 03-23-2019)
- This mold of Bumblebee features a flip-out cannon on his right hand. The Movie the Best release however; features an individual screen-accurate clawed plasma cannon for Bumblebee to wield.
The Last Knight

- Bumblebee (Deluxe Class, 2017)
- War Hammer Bumblebee (Transformers: Movie the Best Deluxe Class, 2017)
- Bumblebee Evolution 3-pack (Transformers: Tribute Deluxe Class multi pack, 2017)
- Bumblebee Then & Now Multipack (Studio Series deluxe Class 2-pack, 2018)
- This new mold of Bumblebee features a interchangeable Plasma Cannon (referred as "Stinger Blaster"), which replaces his entire left arm, or store underneath his robot mode back. It probably doubles as a handheld gun. The Movie the Best release features a mirrored version of the accessory, which allows it to be mounted onto the right hand.

Merchandise
Transformers (2007)

- Bumblebee AllSpark Blaster (2008)
- The Bumblebee AllSpark Blaster is one of several Movie Roleplay toys. The toy consists of a blaster attached to Bumblebee's (hollow) hand which a child can slip their own hand inside like a glove and wield. Pulling the trigger causes the toy to emit transformation sounds, allowing the user to transform the toy weapon from laser blaster mode to plasma cannon mode, by pulling the handle on the back. Laser blaster mode features laser pulse sounds and a "laser flare beam" (lights), while the plasma cannon mode has "plasma pulse lights" and explosion sounds.
Unleashed

- Bumblebee (2007)
- Unleashed Bumblebee is a sculpture of Bumblebee in his Camaro Concept body, in an action pose, standing with his freshly fired plasma cannon atop the wrecked remains of a somewhat super-deformed car. Like most of the other products in the Unleashed line, he became a notorious shelfwarmer.
Revenge of the Fallen

- Bumblebee Plasma Cannon (2009)
- The Plasma Cannon is a stylized version of Bumblebee's fist that converts to a plasma cannon roleplay toy when the barrel is slid forward or the trigger is pulled. When fired, a ring of red lights around the barrel flashes (totally awesome). If the trigger is only pulled half-way, a "charging" sound is made. There is also an Autobot sigil on the side that, when pressed, causes sound effects to be heard. These include conversion noises, a revving engine, and clips from Stan Bush's "The Touch" (also awesome, but only in the "Try Me" setting, which is not quite as awesome).
RPMs - Robot Powered Machines

- Bumblebee (2009)
- Series: Commander Series
- Number: 02 of 04
- This Bumblebee Mini-Vehicle depicts his Concept Camaro form, and the sculpted robot mode underneath has its battle mask down and is armed with his plasma cannon.

- Bumblebee (2009)
- Bumblebee (Cyber Hunt, 2010)
- This Bumblebee Mini-Vehicle depicts the Super Sport version seen in the second film, and features Bumblebee without his battle mask. This also features the plasma cannon.
Figure Collection

- Bumblebee (2010)
- Accessories: Stand
- The Figure Collection edition of Bumblebee depicts him in his concept Camero form, with his cannon deployed on his right arm.
Robot Heroes

- Bumblebee vs. Barricade (2007)
- The first Robot Heroes Bumblebee is based on his Camaro Concept body, with the plasma cannon on his arm. It's also just about the only fiction-accurate RH pack ever made...

- Nightwatch Bumblebee VS Patrol Barricade (2010)
- Bumblebee Track Set (2010)
- Bumblebee (Beast Machines, 2011)
- These are the many, many redecoes of the RPM Speed Series Bumblebee mold with less paint details and with the Autobot insignia on the base of his vehicle mode not being included. The plasma cannon remains, though.

- Bumblebee (2010?)
- Series: Robot Riders
- Number: 0? of 03
- Unlike all other SpeedStars Bumblebees, this one is sculpted in his robot mode. He's in a kneeling position with his gun in front of him, and can roll back and forth due to wheels under his legs. The placement of his plasma cannon is... unfortunate.
