This is the only clip show in the series to feature vital plot points.
Among the series' clip shows, this one has the most original animation, showing the Maximals get back up after the explosion of Unicron, Vector Sigma's resurrection, Lio Convoy and Big Convoy's re-assignments, and the Maximal's graduation ceremony interrupted by Magmatron's Predacons.

The Seacons were left on an asteroid near Gaia's orbit in the Beast Wars II episode "Revenge of the Space Pirates".
The Jointrons and the Insectrons were left on Gaia; Artemis and Moon were left on the Moon; Galvatron's Predacons were left drifting through space; and Lio Convoy's Maximals were left trapped in a wormhole in the Beast Wars II episode "Farewell! Lio Convoy".
