After Ratbat sent them to Earth, Blitzwing, Astrotrain, and Octane wound up catching Scraplets. The Throttlebots had discovered a cure for the deadly disease and when the Scraplets combined into a giant monster, Goldbug was forced to disinfect the three Decepticons, whereupon Blitzwing gleefully began hacking at the monster with his electron scimitar.
