| This article is about the Generation 1 character. For the Star Trek weapon, see Phaser (weapon). |
- Phaser is an Autobot Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Second-in-command of the Astro Squad, the professional Phaser (aka Fuzer)'s combiner partner is the over-enthusiastic Blast Master. The need to double-check and triple-check his partner's moves, along with the fact he's the most down-to-earth of the entire team, is why he's perfect for his position. However, on occasion Phaser takes too much responsibility on himself, which can make him emotionally burnt out.[1]

At some point prior to 2015, Phaser was exposed to Plasma energy and developed a tertiary weapon form. LG-EX Big Powered Prologue Part One
In 2015, Swerve wielded Phaser's My First Blaster mode in an unsuccessful battle with Trypticon. When a visiting Rattrap lamented his small stature, Swerve revealed to him that Phaser was actually a tiny robot but his size didn't stop him from being a valued ally. Bonus Edition Vol. 8 Protesting against Swerve's lackadaisical attitude towards accuracy, Phaser continued to help Swerve against Trypticon by telling him where to aim in blaster mode, realizing too late his helpful advice only made it easier for Trypticon to dodge his blasts. 2015's Swerve Nevertheless, Phaser, Swerve, and their allies eventually brought Trypticon down. LG-43 Trypticon Project Chapter Phaser later came with Swerve to the Legends World where they helped defeat Trypticon a second time. Bonus Edition Vol. 43
In 2038, Phaser was stationed on Zone when the forces loyal to Dark Nova attacked. He transformed to weapon mode and was wielded by Sonic Bomber. LG-EX Big Powered Prologue Part One

Toys
The Transformers

- Astro Squad (Micromaster Combiner Squad, 1990)
- Phaser transforms into the front half of a black and white space shuttle. As a Micromaster Combiner, he can connect to the half-a-vehicle mode of any other Combiner to make a new vehicle mode, and can also attach to any Micromaster Combiner Transport. He was only available as part of the Astro Team, along with Blast Master, Missile Master, Moonrock, Barrage, and Heave.
Return of Convoy
- Shuttle Rocket W Team (Micro Trailer Team, 1991)

- Accessories: Micro Trailer #4
- Phaser was released in Return of Convoy as part of the Shuttle Rocket W Team, with Blast Master, Missile Master, and Moonrock. These later releases of Phaser had reduced black paint details and only four windows painted as opposed to the original six. The other three toys are identical to their Hasbro releases. The set also came with Micro Trailer #4.
Legends

- Swerve & Tailgate (Multi-pack, January 24, 2015)
- ID number: LG08
- Legends Phaser is a redeco of Generations Flanker, transforming into a drone jet resembling the Barracuda and Sky-X designs with a new wing configuration[4] in the colors of a Space Shuttle. He also has a third blaster-cannon mode that can be used by any toy that uses the 5 mm post/hole system. In an awesome homage to the 2005 IDW continuity, Phaser's blaster mode is a version of My First Blaster.
- He was only available in a four-pack with Swerve, his partner, and Tailgate and Groundshaker.
- This mold was also used to make Generations Eclipse, part of BotCon 2015 Oilmaster, and TFSS 5.0 Quickslinger and Hi-Q.
War for Cybertron: Earthrise

- Fuzer & Autobot Blast Master (Micromaster, 2020)
- Hasbro ID number: WFC-E16
- TakaraTomy ID number: ER EX-11
- TakaraTomy release date: October 23, 2020
- Part of the second wave of Earthrise Micromaster two-packs, Fuzer (presumably renamed due to trademark reasons) transforms from a robot into the canopy of a licensed NASA space shuttle — a rarity in modern Transformers toys. The NASA logo is printed twice on the shuttle mode's rear.
- Fuzer can combine with his partner Blast Master to form the complete alt mode, which has ports on the back thrusters to add blast effects or to stand up on a post to simulate taking off. However, if one wants to keep the Micromasters separated, Fuzer bears a comically small set of thrusters on his rear. It tucks away out of sight when Fuzer combines with Blast Master. Also, as with Blast Master, Fuzer has a fold-out 5 mm post, allowing the combined duo to be handheld as a weapon with Blast Master's rockets serving as gun barrels.
- Fuzer has several extra points of articulation owing to his transformation; he has both hinge and socket joints at his arms as well as a small amount of waist swiveling. Fuzer has two guns that cannot be removed, as they are molded into his hands. Of course, due to his back panel causing obstruction in robot mode, Fuzer's legs easily pop off at the thigh if one tries to move them.

- Botropolis Rescue Mission (Galactic Odyssey Collection, 2021)
- Released as part of the Encounter 5 set of the Earthrise Galactic Odyssey Collection, Fuzer is a redeco of his mass-retail figure, with new red and black accents creating a deco for the combined vehicle mode that is a dead-ringer for fellow space shuttle Micromaster, Storm Jet.
- Fuzer is part of an Amazon-exclusive six-pack consisting exclusively of Autobots, bundled with fellow Micromasters Blast Master, Moonrock, and Missile Master, and the Modulators Overair and Ironworks. The Modulators are designed to combine into a giant space station which the Micromasters can interact with. Fuzer and Blast Master specifically dock onto a redeco of Earthrise Doubledealer's missile, which attaches to Overair.
