Created by Gold Megatron as part of his New Primus Vanguard, Red Megatron (レッド破壊大帝 (メガトロン) Reddo Megatoron, lit. "Emperor of Destruction Red"<ref>Precursor World fiction frequently utilizes an elaborate form of Japanese wordplay to impart characters with a sort of "B-side" moniker. In this case the title "Emporer of Destruction Red" is read as the name "Red Megatron." See the Primus Vanguard article for further details on how this works.</ref>) seeks to usurp Red Sentinel Prime's position as representative of the Red Light.

Precursor World

Upon absorbing the Golden Age envoy's Golden Power and attaining a new form, Gold Megatron used the Silver Matrix filled with all seven types of Star Power to create seven new Megatrons to serve him, including Red Megatron. In the following battle royale, Black Megatron and Red Megatron attacked the Transformers on the Blue Planet's surface, but were repelled by Scramble 7. Finale Part 2

T-Wrecks was repurposed as Red Megatron.

Beast Machines T-Wrecks is a redeco of Beast Wars Ultra Class Megatron. He transforms into a Tyrannosaurus rex, with a water-spraying gimmick inside his dino-mode mouth. In robot mode, his left arm has a lunging/snapping claw gimmick, plus he has a pair of hip-mounted spring-loaded missile launchers. He retains the "mutant head" gimmick as well: a pair of bat-like "wings" on his helmet that swing forward to cover his face as a "battle mask" (a feature which, unlike the original Megatron's, was actually depicted in fiction).
