'''Sairon''' (サイロン) is a formidable rhinoceros [[Laser Beast]] utilized as part of the land assault forces of the army. While slow, Sairon puts all of his effort into his tasks, regardless of whether he will receive public acclaim. Part of this is his sheer stubbornness and dislike of anything crooked. Even with the advantage of weapons, none can match Sairon's strength and spirit, and Sairon is more than capable of defeating all, fair and square.

The Heavy Push Laser Sairon wields is destructive and pushes people along as if it were a giant boulder.

*Sairon takes his name from the Japanese word for rhinceros, ''sai'' (犀).
* Sairon takes his name from the Japanese word for rhinoceros, ''sai'' (犀). Due to the [[Japanese language|r/l issue with non-Japanese words rendered in katakana]], his name ''could'' potentially be "Sailon", but eh.
* It is currently unknown what his Hasbro ''Battle Beasts'' name was going to be.

Part of the first assortment of Takara's Beastformers individually-boxed Laser Beasts, Sairon is an anthropomorphic rhinoceros in high-tech blue armor. He has a transparent orb in his torso, revealing the elemental power of Fire, Water, or Wood when you look through it into a light source.
Nominally, he comes with the rhino-themed "Heavy Push Laser" blaster. However, there is also a chance he could come with the weapon from one of the other 11 Laser Beasts in his shipping case; matching the Beasts with their same-numbered weapons was part of the "role-playing game" attached to the line, encouraging kids to buy more of the toys.
This toy was actually released in Hasbro's Battle Beasts line as part of the "Shadow Warriors" series, but they saw extremely limited distribution, largely hitting clearance chains in the US, plus limited releases in parts of Europe. As such, it generally goes for a bit less than the later Laser Beasts that were only released in Japan, but not a lot less.
