Battle Android Troopers are Cobra robots from the G.I. Joe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Battle Android Troopers (B.A.T.) are mass-produced androids used to fill out Cobra's ranks. Cheap and easily replaced, B.A.T.s are pretty popular among the higher-ups since they never question orders or demand pay or annoying stuff like that. On the other hand, they're pretty dumb, so they're usually just used to wear G.I. Joe down before actually skilled troops are sent in.

Several years later, Cobra Commander led an army of B.A.T.s in an attack on Area 52. They were easily swept aside by the G.I. Joe battle mechs, but their ability to combine with each other and the nearby S.N.A.K.E.s into Cobratron proved a tad more difficult to overcome. The B.A.T.s were all but wiped out when the Autobots joined the battle, but it turned out their attack was just a distraction anyway. The Art of War #1

G.I. Joe and the Transformers

An exclusive release for San Diego Comic-Con 2012, the G.I. Joe and the Transformers Battle Android Trooper sports Constructicon colors. The figure is accompanied by Shockwave (a redeco of the 2012 new-mold G.I. Joe: Retaliation HISS tank), Destro, and a trolley for carrying Energon cubes.
Destro's accessories include the small, non-transforming tape deck Soundwave and cassettes Ravage, Laserbeak, and Ratbat.


  • Old Snake with Advanced Stealth B.A.T. Duo (2015)
    • Accessories: Pistol, backpack, 2 energon cubes, display stand, 2 Nightshriek drones.
Released as an exclusive to both the Transformers and G.I. Joe Collectors Clubs, the Advanced Stealth B.A.T. duo are recolors of Prime: Robots in Disguise Soundwave and as such transform into UAV drones. The front of the drone mode nosecones have tampographs which resemble the faces of the original B.A.T's. The drones do not include any weaponry, but do include Nightshriek drones which are recolors of Laserbeak and can attach to their robot mode chests.
The duo was only available in a 3-pack along with Old Snake.
