:Due to his ''immense'' size and weight, [[Jetfire (G1)/toys#War for Cybertron: Siege|Jetfire]] does not have a 3mm compatible flight stand port anywhere on his person, but on the underside of his jet mode is a recessed hexagonal port that measures ''just'' over 5mm, presumably meant for a larger stand that does not exist (officially). | |||

The flight stand is a figure mounting system used for displaying action figures in mid-air, rather than standing on a surface. This allows them to be supported in poses that would otherwise be impossible if the figures were balanced on their own. Typically, flight stands consist of a large flat base and an arm that can be used to hold figures. Flight stands will often hold figures through pegs of various sizes, claws, or other attachments designed to be as hidden as possible.
Some Transformers toys have hexagonal/circular flight stand ports that allow them to be directly fitted onto standardized 3mm flight stand joints. By the early 2010s, this had become a standard feature on many modern-era Transformers.
Known toy molds with flight stand ports
- Note: The vast majority of flight stand compatible ports found on figures are at the base of the spine, or between the legs of a figure. Unless noted otherwise, they're likely found there on your figure.
