| This article is about the Energon subgroup. For the Generation 1 subgroup, see Omnibot (G1). |
- The Omnicons are an Autobot subgroup in the Energon portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

The Omnicons are Transformers, larger than Mini-Cons but still fairly small, that have the ability to handle and process raw energon. They can convert this substance into useful tools and weapons, or into Energon stars.
The known Omnicons are:

There are hundreds of identical Omnicons, and large squads of them with identical body types are very common. However, they are not drones, but individuals with full capabilities for independent thought. They are led by Arcee, who has a unique bodyframe among the Omnicons.
It was revealed that Omnicons were originally the Autobots and Decepticons factions that left Cybertron to follow Rodimus into space. Rather than continue to battle, they learn how to co-exist with one another and put there skills into mining and processing energon, which as time passes evolved them into the Omnicons. Energon comic
The Omnicons came about during " a time of expansion" on Cybertron, in the wake of Unicron and Megatron's defeat. They had "underdeveloped" social skills according to Over-Run, along with a tendency to preface anything they said with "CRZ" or "ZRT" or something.

In Aurex 304.0 Epsilon, the Omnicons were a faction led by Rodimus, opposing the Autobots and Decepticons alike in their quest to exploit the Mini-Cons. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/08/11
In an unspecified universe visited by Vector Prime, the notorious reconstituted revenant Carillon commanded a horde of vampiric Omnicons. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/30

- Omnicons (2003-2004)
- Arcee
- Ariel Paradron Type (Superlink only)
- Skyblast
- Strongarm
- Energon Strongarm (redeco)
- Signal Flare
- Offshoot (redeco of Signal Flare)
- The Omnicons, along with their counterparts the Terrorcons, were sold carded, and filled the $7 price point previously filled by the Mini-Cons in Armada. They transform into futuristic/fanciful Earthly vehicles. Each comes with a translucent colored "Energon weapon", which can be combined and assembled in multiple configurations. The Omnicons and Terrorcons marked the return of the Basic size class in practice if not in name, which had not been part of the Armada toyline.

- Part of the first Transformers Attacktix assortment, Omnicon is a "generic" figure based on the Signal Flare/Offshoot body design, in mainly black and bronze. Omnicon has 4 points of articulation; waist, head and shoulders. While he is a small-based figure he is capable of creating an effective defensive tripod — that is, supporting himself with his missile-launching arm.
- Omnicon's special power allows you to make an extra attack on your next turn if you have an Autobot figure in play.
- Skyblast - robot mode (Starter Set, 2006)
- Skyblast - vehicle mode (Starter Set, 2006)
- Arcee (Booster, 2007) - unreleased

- Part of the "on indefinite hiatus" second wave of Transformers Attacktix, this redeco of the original Omnicon piece was to have been a "Rare" Booster piece sold in randomly-packed two-packs.
Notes
- According to Hirofumi Ichikawa, the original idea for the Omnicons and Terrorcons by the design departments of both Hasbro and Takara was for them to be evolved Mini-Cons. Super Cross, a scrapped early proposal for what would eventually become Energon, tied this evolution to Unicron's energy mutating captive Autobots, Decepticons, and Mini-Cons alike into new forms; by the time Energon entered early development, Takara's marketing department, the only people from Takara ever directly talking to We've, completely ignored this idea, and so the final cartoon established its own backstory for the group. When Ichikawa found out about that, he never bothered trying to link his Linkage comic and the Superlink cartoon.[1] A remnant of this concept may have persisted into Dreamwave's short-lived Energon comic; issue #19 shows the Omnicons living in the former Mini-Con villages, while Over-Run describes them as the product of an "evolutionary step"—although it's not outright established that they are evolved Mini-Cons.
- The name Omnibots might have been considered for the Omnicons, according to designer Aaron Archer.[2]
