- Boom Tube is a Decepticon-aligned Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
Boom Tube is the leader of the Interstellar Marauders Mini-Con Team. She uses a ditzy exterior to lull opponents into a false sense of security, but is in reality a highly focused Mini-Con. She is loyal to Spacewarp, augmenting her through powerlinxing or by combining with her teammates into the Transwarp Blaster.
Fiction
Ask Vector Prime
In Aurex 006.0 Kappa, Boom Tube and her teammates Jump Drive and Starburst were frozen in stasis lock in their combined form. Spacewarp won them as the prize in a game of high-stakes Triad held on Monacus. When she and Foldspace revived the team through the use of proton energy, the team swore allegiance to her. Notes
- Spacewarp and all of her Mini-Cons have names deriving from fictional methods of FTL travel. Boom Tube's name comes from the method often employed in DC Comics, and is also a reference to her role as the barrel of the Transwarp Blaster.
- According to Jim Sorenson, her personality was loosely based on Futurama's Amy Wong.[1]
