You know that nice, sweet girl, Sari Sumdac? Yeah, this isn't that Sari. She hails from an alternate universe, where everything is flipped, turned upside down. Autobots are evil. Decepticons are good. Porter C. Powell is a nice guy. You know the deal.
In another universe, Sari Sumdac could have been a sweet little girl.  Unfortunately for this Sari, she fell into the hands of Isaac Sumdac, who caged her like an animal and experimented on her unique techno-biology. She now serves alongside her father's enslaved Autobots, standing toe-to-toe with them with a powerful battle mode courtesy of the AllSpark fragments embedded in her skin.

Though a force of nature when it comes to destruction, Sari's commitment to maintaining her father's rule over Michigan is far from absolute.  She'd rather push her duties onto the Autobots, or set up macabre pranks. But there is one thing to which she is completely dedicated: losing the control collar that keeps her in line and finishing the job she started when she took out her daddy dearest's eye.

When Isaac Sumdac discovered and touched her protoform in his lab, she absorbed his DNA and attacked him, tearing out his eye. Her violent nature impressed him, and from then on, he raised her in a cage, subjecting her to constant painful experiments and upgrades. After testing the results of AllSpark fragment implantation, her true power was revealed. Subsequently, armed with a battle mode, she served as a slave alongside the Autobots. While she enjoyed the destruction and power, she was more of a prankster than truly evil. She hated her "creator" with every fiber of her being, and dreamed of the day when she would be free to finish what she started all those years ago. BotCon 2011 Bumblebee was one of the few 'bots that Sari felt comfortable around, mostly because the freakbot was such a coward that she was confident he would never try to stab in her the back. The Autobots were captured by HYBRID and stuck in Soundwave's VR world, so Sari gathered some local hobobots, "convinced" them to help her, and went to get the slaves back to normal. Sari later reminisced on her exploits and wrote about them in her diary in letter form. She expressed frustration over her state of subjugation. Transformers Animated: The Complete AllSpark Almanac

This article is about the evil character from the mirror universe. For the good character from the Animated television show, see Sari Sumdac (Animated). For a list of other meanings, see Sari Sumdac (disambiguation).
Sari Sumdac is a technorganic humanoid from the Shattered Glass Animated continuity family.
She's the cool Sari.

Notes

Shattered Glass Sari, I choose you, OHHHH YEEAH!
 • Sari was initially doodled up by Derrick J. Wyatt for inclusion in an unmade Animated episode set in a mirror universe. After the character concept was developed with Heather Morgan and others on Wyatt's Formspring account, Sari made a more public debut on Wyatt's blog in 2010.[1] She was made an official part of the brand when Wyatt provided an illustration including her for Transformers Generations 2011 Vol. 1, and was first characterised by "The 'Cons", a lithograph exclusive to BotCon 2011.
 • Concepts cooked up by Wyatt for Sari that didn't make it into official fiction include her building her own Bumblebee inspired by the friendship between the positive universe Sari and Bee, being brainwashed by an emotionally manipulative Tutor Bot, and cooperating with Isaac on the pretence that he was keeping her mother figure hostage.[2]
