- Nucleous is an Armorizer from the Infernac Universe by way of the Legacy: United toyline.

Nucleous is a living rock made of raw nucleon. When used as armor, he can impart power far beyond that of a normal Armorizer at a cost: extended exposure will deprive his partner of their ability to transform.[1]
Toys
Legacy

- Infernac Universe Nucleous (Deluxe, 2024)
- Accessories: Canopy/shield, left & right thrusters/club
- Known designers: Mark Maher (Hasbro), Takio Ejima (TakaraTomy)[1]
- Part of the third wave of Legacy: United Deluxes, Nucleous is an extensive retooling of fellow Armorizer Magneous, with only the waist, pelvis, lower arms, thighs, and wheels retained. He transforms into a rocky robo-car with rocky rocket thrusters at the back. Said thrusters cobble together to form his club in robot mode.
- Like previous lines' Weaponizers, Fossilizers, and Junkions, Nucleous can split apart to form weapon accessories for other characters. But unlike previous lines' Weaponizers, Fossilizers, and Junkions, only a few smaller parts of Nucleous (namely, his arms and shins/feet) split off, leaving a mostly-intact main body behind. In addition, the armor plates on the back of his forearms and the sides of his legs can be removed without disassembling the main figure, though it leaves his alt mode without any back wheels if you do. The roof of his truck mode can also be removed from his back to act as a shield; like the Junkions, none of these pieces need to be removed for him to transform. Due to the way the shins have been retooled, as well as the lack of a pickaxe accessory, his shins can't really be used in the same way as with Magneous; however, the spikes on the knees are 5mm compatible and can be plugged into properly sized ports and hands.
- Nucleous was revealed on the April 25 fanstream, with pre-orders going up for him later that same day.
- This mold was also used to make Calcitron.
Notes
- Nucleous's designer Mark Maher described the initial concept for Nucleous as a way to use the Armorizer gimmick to illustrate through play the use of the toxic performance enhancer "nucleon" that provided the fictional justification for the Action Master gimmick in the original Generation 1 franchise.[1]
- In addition to the appearance of nucleon coating in the Marvel comic, Nucleous's deco is informed by real-world milky quartz.
Foreign names
- Japanese: Nucleous (ニュークリオス Nyūkuriosu)
