Wataru Takagi (高木 渉 Takagi Wataru, born July 25, 1966) is a Japanese voice actor . He works for the talent agency Arts Vision, and in terms of anime, he has played various roles such as Garrod Ran in Mobile Suit Gundam X, Rikdo Koshi in Excel Saga, Crimson Rubeus in Sailor Moon R, Eikichi Onidzuka in GTO, Valgaav in Slayers Try, Okuyasu Nijimura in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Genta Kojima (and himself) in Case Closed/Detective Conan. In video games, he was formerly the voice of Zangief and Ryu (among others) and is currently the voice of Hugo in Capcom's Street Fighter franchise, reprised his role as Garrod Ran for the Super Robot Wars franchise, and voiced various Mega Man characters including Rush in Upon a Star, Frost Man and Sword Man in 8, Douglas, Commander Yammark, and Infinity Mijinion in X6, as well as Tornado Tonion and Flame Hyenard in X7.

He is very popular when it comes to dubbing American films and TV shows, primarily because of he can pull off an American accent. Takagi is the official dub voice for Chris Rock, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Jack Black (the American Pie series, Goosebumps, etc.), and he's also played Dobby in the Harry Potter film series and Paul Allen in American Psycho.

So far as cartoons go, he has played Flim in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Eddy in Ed, Edd & Eddy, Zach in Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?, Dr. Blowhole in The Penguins of Madagascar, Iceman in Spider-Man & his Amazing Friends and the Toon Disney dub of Saban's X-Men as well Henry Peter Gyrich in the TV Tokyo version and is the current voice of Daffy Duck in all Looney Tunes media.
