Transformers Mode "Eva" chapter 2
Publisher TakaraTomy Mall
First published May 29, 2014

Amidst the confusion, the ghost of Starscream appears.

Synopsis

[edit]

As the Autobots and an Angel confront each other, a mysterious shadow appears—the ghost of Starscream! The disembodied spark has continued to wander the universe since the battle against Unicron years ago. The spark possesses the Angel, both becoming a fused form called "Angel"-scream. With his newfound power, Starscream threatens to destroy the Autobots, Optimus Prime in particular.

In response to this confusing sequence of events, Misato Katsuragi gives the order for Eva-01 to be activated, and Tokyo-3 shifts to deploy the Evangelion unit.

(Numbers indicate order of appearance.)

Notes

[edit]
  • Wheeljack, Sideswipe, and Bumblebee appear in the illustration, but are not called out within the text itself.
  • Optimus Prime compares New Tokyo-3's transformation to Scramble City.
  • Based on "Angel"-scream's design cues in the previous chapter's illustration, the Angel that Starscream fuses with seems to be Sachiel.
  • Like the preceding chapter, the artwork for this chapter depicts events to come in the chapter after this one.
