The name or term "Scavenger" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Scavenger (disambiguation).
Scavenger is a Decepticon Constructicon from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2003 Universe toyline).
"Scavengers Scassemble!"

Scavenger is one of the six MicroMaster Constructicons who combine into Devastator, Scavenger forming his right arm. Scavenger's personality, like that of his comrades, is unknown.

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

[edit]

In Aurex 1104.30-DB Zeta (a highly Primax-influenced universe), the Micromasters were born from Doctor Brian Jones's attempts at reverse-engineering Maximus combiner technology and applying it to Mini-Con anatomy. However, the Decepticons stole the technology and created their own Micromaster combiner, Devastator. Superion, Defensor, and Rail Racer fought Devastator in the Combiner Wars during the Unicron Singularity crisis. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/07/31

Toys

Universe (2003)

[edit]
  • Scavenger (MicroMaster Constructicon, 2004)
  • Series: II
  • Number: 3 of 6
  • Accessories: Devastator head & rifle
A redeco of Digger, Scavenger transforms into a Coles 25/28 T mobile crane, only with the crane arm swapped out for a power shovel. He can form the right arm to any similar-construction Micromaster combiner robot, but his nominal position is as the arm of Constructicon Devastator. (He can be used as a left arm too, but since only the right fist to the Sixbuilder mold-set will work with him, he'd be backwards.)
Part of the second wave of KB Toys exclusive Universe MicroMasters, he and the other MicroMaster Constructicons were also ultimately available from Sears during Christmastime, and Kmart's online store.
The toy's connector socket is approximately 5 mm wide, making Scavenger compatible with Powerlinx ports.
This toy doubles as the Beast Wars: Uprising incarnation of Skavenger. This mold was also used to make Micromaster Scavenger.

  • Accessories: Devastator head & rifle
The MicroMaster Constructicons were sold in Europe under the Energon banner, presumably since Europe never actually got Universe. The toys are identical to the Universe versions.
