The Earthforce and Terrorcons go on the hunt for a fragment of Cyber-City, and the Armada Universe members of the parties discuss a vital weapon located within the structure.

Synopsis

[edit]

Part 1

[edit]

The Earthforce combs through the rainforests of Santa Cruz de Cana, Panama, but their search is going nowhere. Brawn offers to level the woods, but Blaster offers an alternative search method in the form of seeing with resonant sound... until Armada Scavenger and Laser Optimus remind him that the Entity may have activated Cyber-City's cloaking devices. Optimus orders the team to pair up with C.O.M.B.A.T. Bots and do a more thorough search. While Skids forms teams, Scavenger pulls his leader aside to discuss the artefact within the fortress. Optimus explains that, in addition to the name not meaning anything to the bots of this universe, he doesn't think they're ready for it.

Part 2

[edit]

Armada Wheeljack tells Armada Megatron of his misgivings about offering the other Terrorcons the artefact, as he doesn't think the lesser bots to be worthy of such a weapon, to which Megatron agrees. He then promises to Wheeljack that, once they have the artefact, the Terrorcons will be killed. Crankcase interrupts their conversation to tell them that they're having no luck with their search, and asks for ideas about to narrow down the area. Megatron suggests he have Acid Storm level the forest, but then Breakdown Prime rushes up to them and informs them that Deluge has literally run into the fortress. Megatron orders them to arm up with C.O.M.B.A.T. Bots and form a perimeter around the building, and says that he and Wheeljack will personally enter it once it's secure. The other Terrorcons protest, as they can tell there's something in there he wants for himself, and their suspicions are proven right when Laser Optimus arrives onto the scene and reveals the name of the weapon in question: the Skyboom!

Gameplay

[edit]

This event was an Alliance event, meaning players were to unlock points with their Alliance, all of which went towards unlocking various prizes. The top prize was a 4-star Leo Prime or Predacon Inferno Crystal.

Notes

[edit]
  • This event saw Earth Wars developer Space Ape Games take the novel step of embedding narrative content in the game's weekly email newsletters, previously fairly dry affairs full of patch notes for grizzled gacha veterans. Namely, a "secret transmission" in an unknown script reading:
