Notes

[edit]
  • The Intruders are an alien species that originated in the G.I. Joe franchise, specifically during the "Adventure Team" years of the 1970s. Their Beast Wars: Uprising versions don't look anything like their usual appearance as "strongmen from another world". Medusa's profile, however, describes them as looking that way; artist Naoto Tsushima likely did not receive proper references for their mention in the story.
  • The Intruder Empire's close proximity to Spensifax B implies that, in the Animated continuity, it was the stellar empire that had its technological development put back an estimated 250,000 years after an attack from the Decepticons, thus bridging the gap between the technologically advanced Intruders in the past (like the iteration from Beast Wars: Uprising) and the brutish Intruders in the present. Their empire encompassing planets that have been invaded and ravaged by Decepticons, in different continuities, further supports this implication.
