- The Caretaker is a supercomputer from the Classics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Caretaker is a supercomputer designed by Vector Sigma to aid Breakaway during his assignment on one version of Earth. Primus placed Breakaway and the Caretaker within the planet billions of years ago, while it was still forming[1]. It has served as his knowledge database all these years to fulfill a yet-unspecified purpose.
The Caretaker's technology is beyond quantum science, with embedded string circuitry, utilizing "chaos-entangled supersymmetric twelve-dimensional processing."
