Along with the rest of the Urban Renewal Team, Road Hazard accompanied Modus Prime, Broadside, and the Heavy Hauler Team to Altihex's abandoned energon refinery. After a short tour, Road Hazard's teammate Sledge spotted something, and pointed it out to him. It appeared to be a deranged Autobot — in actuality, however, it was a cobbled-together killing machine remotely controlled by Broadside. In the ensuing chaos, Road Hazard was killed. The New World
