| This article is about live-action film Decepticon helicopter. For Cybertron Mini-Con truck, see Reverb (Cybertron). |
- Reverb is an Decepticon from the 2007 movie franchise portion of the live-action film series continuity family.

Reverb is a helicopter!
Fiction
IDW Transformers movie comics
Sent to Earth by Soundwave, Reverb (along with Gunbarrel) is one of the Decepticons working under Fracture, who was nice enough to find an alternate mode for him at an Italian military base. After scanning, the Decepticons destroyed the installation. Alliance issue 3
Reverb went to Florida, presumably to assist Dropkick and Incinerator. This didn't work out too well, as the Decepticons were attacked by the Autobots and their human friends. During the battle Reverb managed to pin Ratchet with his blades, but was distracted when the Autobot medic attacked him with his cutting saw, allowing Optimus Prime to finish him off with his energy sword. Alliance issue 4
Toys
Transformers (2007)

- Decepticon Reverb (Scout,
2009)- Accessories: Quintuple-barreled Energon Weapon cannon, Decepticon-style energon chip
- Part of the canceled[1] fifth assortment of Target exclusive movie-series Scouts, Decepticon Reverb would have been a redeco of Energon Stormcloud/Blackout, transforming into an assault helicopter similar to an Apache. He could also have formed an leg or arm to any Energon-series "Powerlinx Combiner" super robot — though no super robot torsos actually came out during the original live-action movie toyline, and his packaging makes no mention of the toy's ability to combine.
- He would have come with a quintuple-barreled cannon that formed a hand or footplate for his limb-modes, plus a Decepticon-style energon chip.
- This mold was also used to make the Fun Publications Transformers Collectors' Club-exclusive toy Topspin and Universe (2008) Bruticus Maximus team members Vortex and Swindle.
Trivia
- Reverb's toy was first acknowledged on Hasbro's Transformers Action Figure Checklist.
- Reverb's deco was thought by many to an homage to an earlier character (Deathcobra and Waspinator were popular choices), but his colors were in fact based on Universe Cloudraker, as Joe Kyde was particularly pleased by Cloudraker's colors and wanted to re-use them on something bigger.
