The Autobots decide to test their skills with a friendly race.  Prime waves a checkered flag and the Autobots head out, unaware that Soundwave has learned of their race and is plotting a way to defeat them (snickering to himself as he does so).  Soundwave and Laserbeak wait until they enter a narrow canyon and ambush them.  The rocky terrain keeps the Autobots from fighting back and Wheeljack, Sideswipe and Jazz are taken out.  Unfortunately for Soundwave, Hound is a Jeep and has no trouble driving over rocky terrain.  Hound transforms to robot mode and drives his fist straight through Soundwave's glass chest window.  Meanwhile, Jazz transforms and takes out Laserbeak.
