Rook was one of the countless second generation Transformers serving under Jhiaxus on the Twilight.
After contact was made with the first generation Autobots, Rook was thoroughly puzzled by his ancestor's war, not understanding the difference between "Autobot" and "Decepticon"; Jhiaxus merely assured him that, whatever they were called, they were nothing more than evolutionary throwbacks.
