:The logic seems to be that the physical 'frame' is what's properly termed a protoform, and the 'gooey quicksilver' stuff is protomatter, which can be formed into pretty much anything. 3-part system

- Um... searches memory protoform, protomatter and spark, iirc. A protoform is described as consisting of these 3 elements in... the 2007 movie guide I think?
