- The X-Dimension is an alternate universe parralling the Armada cartoon in the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
The X-Dimension is an alternate universes that parallels the Transformers Armada cartoon series.
Virtually nothing is known about the X-Dimension, beyond the fact that in 2003 30 Japanese-exclusive Mini-Cons were released in "X-Dimension" colors, representing their appearance in that universe.
At one point there were plans for a comic which would have paralleled the events of the Armada cartoon in this universe, but from the Mini-Cons' perspective.[1]

It may be that X-Dimension project was dropepd in favor of "Linkage" when Takara realized that the Armada cartoon was
borderline incoherenta bit messy in places and needed someone to bat clean-up for it more than they needed an alternate-universe retelling.
