| This article is about the evil Autobot undercover journalist. For his heroic double-agent counterpart, see Punch (G1). |
- Punch is an evil Autobot from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family. His favorite journalism subject, the heroic Decepticon Counterpunch, is nearby. Real nearby.

Punch is one of Rook's co-reporters, and Around Cybertron's Decepticon expert. He specializes in covering stories about traitorous "good" Autobots meeting up with heroic Decepticons that look suspiciously like him.
Fiction
Shattered Glass

Punch was first on the scene with Mini Spy, who gave him an exclusive eyewitness account and footage of the Autobots Skyfall and Drill Powerdasher meeting up with the "surprisingly handsome" Decepticon Counterpunch near Iacon.
Mini-Spy then looked forward to getting an energon payment from Punch for some reason... Around Cybertron #4
When the news hit that the Decepticons were causing trouble, Rook turned things over to Punch to get the scoop on the situation. Unfortunately, it turned out that while Punch had been undercover, he had received a better offer from their rival DBN anchors. Punch felt bad about abandoning Rook to Andromeda, but having a new boss that praised his employees (unlike his crabby old boss) was too good for Punch to pass up. Around Cybertron #8
Notes
- His colors look to be inspired by Doubledealer.
