The Cannon Transport is a Decepticon Micromaster transport from the Generation 1 continuity family.
This series of conflicts was later dubbed the War of the Shaking Fists.

The Cannon Transport is commanded by Cement-Head and Terror-Tread, who lug it into battle. It can convert to a battle station mode with multiple cannons, or split into two separate artillery emplacements with dual plasma blasters. Its state of the art scanners can track enemy Autobots up to twenty miles away.

Toys

Generation 1

  • Cannon Transport (Micromaster Decepticon Combiner Transport, 1990)
    • Accessories: 2 cannons, left & right shields/ramps
The Cannon Transport was sold boxed with Terror-Tread and Cement-Head, who can connect to its front and rear ends in vehicle mode to "drive" it, or connect to each other as a smaller independent vehicle. The transport converts to a battle station form with a ramp to hold the combined Micromasters in vehicle form; ramps in this mode allow it to combine with other Micromaster bases to form larger complexes. It can also split into two wheeled "battle emplacements", each of which has a driver's compartment for a Micromaster to sit in.

Trivia

  • As with the Missile Launcher, it seems the Tech Spec writer didn't quite grasp the concept; the bio describes the Cannon Transport as being able to transform into a battle platform, two artillery emplacements, OR two robots. It also describes the Transport as having an additional "Micromaster Combiner Mode" which allows it to "fuse" with other Micromaster Combiners. Right.
  • The Cannon Transport's packaging art incorrectly swaps the colors of Terror-Tread and Cement-Head's torso parts.
  • The box back mural reflects the hi-contrast colors shown on the prototype pictured in the 1990 catalog.
