Sarah Sanders is a human scientist who has developed an invisibility device with money from a research grant. She also flies a spaceship identical to a Lambda-class T-4A Imperial Shuttle. Clearly, she didn't realize it was a research grant from the Empire.

After the Decepticons captured the invisibility device and used it to provide cover for their attack on Autobot City, Ms. Sanders was able to create an invisibility scrambler to nullify its effects. Presumably out of a coat hanger and some chewing gum. The Autobots were then able to fire upon the surprised Decepticons and take them prisoner.
In the 'unsuccessful' ending to this multipath adventure, the Decepticons had captured the invisibility scrambler instead and were able to bring an end to the Earth. The Invisibility Factor
