So now that Bludgeon actually has shown up in a form of media other than that of the toy, should his mainpic be changed to that of the webisode? I like the headpic from the first toy as well, but now we have an actual fiction appearance that could be used.--[[User:General Tekno|General Tekno]] 01:29, 22 January 2010 (EST)

Not toy-only?

I know this is probably just the fact that Milne can't stop drawing easter-eggs to save his life, but the third issue of the adaptation, page 8, second panel. Appears to be Bludgeon, along with... Movieverse Banzai-Tron?!--RosicrucianTalk 11:41, 17 June 2009 (EDT)

Remember, Movie Wreckage also uses that body. He was reformatted to it in Alliance. --ItsWalky 12:47, 17 June 2009 (EDT)
This is very much not Movie Wreckage. This guy has orange armor, a purple samurai-esque helmet, and a silver face, and doesn't really share any design elements with Wreckage.--RosicrucianTalk 12:51, 17 June 2009 (EDT)
You mean like a movie-ized version of the G1 Pretender shell? Yea, I see the resemblance. Also Banzai-Tron. - Starfield 19:14, 26 October 2009 (EDT)
At this point, I would be quite happy to count only named characters in an Alex Milne comic... - SanityOrMadness 12:41, 17 June 2009 (EDT)

Mainpic

I realize we tend to favor the first body, but would anyone object to replacing his mainpic with his Voyager portrait once we can get a good image of that? It's the more distinct face, relative to his other which is just Wreckage recolored.--RosicrucianTalk 01:40, 26 October 2009 (EDT)

I'm all for it. Considering the first toy was just a redeco... I think this should also be done with Unicron Trilogy's Thundercracker, since that one was his first distinct design, not to mention the one that appeared in media as Thundercracker and not Powered-Up Starscream. --Detour 02:12, 26 October 2009 (EDT)
Indeed - insisting "first body!" on each seems equivalent to insisting on the Bat Primal and Alligator Megatron as the main pics on OpPrimal and BW Megs. - SanityOrMadness 09:33, 26 October 2009 (EDT)
I super-like the upcoming Bludgeon toy, and will get that and have passed on the first version, but I really dislike the idea of dumping the non-G1 headshot for the super-G1 headshot. His first body's just as important, and even plays a part in the story of his second! Please let's not do this. --ItsWalky 11:12, 26 October 2009 (EDT)
Well Bat Optimus and Croc Megatron also featured in the very first piece of Beast Wars fiction yet we go with gorilla and t-rex for them. Plus, the Wreckage repaint headshot just isn't as nice (not to mention easily mistakable for Wreckage's). This is like favoring Bludgeon or any other Pretender's inner robot as a main pic instead of the more iconic shell design. --Detour 17:55, 26 October 2009 (EDT)
I think I already addressed this. As I said, Bludgeon's first body is a very important part of what little story we have for him. It's so important that his second body's bio mentions its removal! That is not like Optimus Primal or Megatron, whose first toy is not connected via fiction. Dumping the first headshot is obscuring half of what we know about this character. --ItsWalky 18:53, 26 October 2009 (EDT)

G1 Bludgeon's a very rare exception on account of that comic book cover everyone likes because it's so crazy.
