The Autobot Code is a philosophy from the Earthforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Everyone's a critic.

Though its origins are unknown, as are indeed its precise contents[1], the Autobot Code comprises a set of principles and rules that govern Autobot behavior. Its reach is not universal, however, as some Autobots have completely abandoned its tenets when they felt the situation demanded it. Printed in Transformer-sized book form, it allegedly advocates a policy of non-violence.
