Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
Vivisector was part of Gorelock's battalion that was stationed on Spensifax B when Overlord arrived. Overlord had attacked the emperor of a nearby star system, simply for the challenge of it, but the people were putting up a significant resistance. Gorelock agreed to help. Vivisector estimated that the resulting battle put the technological development of the empire back and estimated 250,000 years. Afterwards, Overlord simply left.
