This article is about the mode for transportation usage. For the vehicle mode, see Alternate mode.

The Transportation mode is an extra mode specialized for transportation usage besides the ordinary vehicle mode. The transportation mode usually features a transporting device, such as wheels, wings, rotors, or a surfing board.

Almost each of the Transmetal characters possesses a transportation mode. The term "Transportation mode" is sometimes referred as flying mode or vehicle mode.
