: I'm not sure why whitespace is the devil. Sometimes whitespace can be nice. It can improve readability and comprehension. Mind, I don't think I have a strong preference for the whitespace or the more consolidated look in this particular instance. - I'm not sure why whitespace is the devil. Sometimes whitespace can be nice. It can improve readability and comprehension. Mind, I don't think I have a strong preference for the whitespace or the more consolidated look in this particular instance.
