The Autobot Road is a series of underground passageways and highways which connect various Autobot headquarters all over the Earth.

Optimus Prime revealed to Kenji that the Autobot Road is a series of highways located 2,500 meters beneath the Earth. It is used to connect the Autobots to secret bases located across the globe and explains how they're able to drive from one continent to the other so quickly. Prime also reveals that the concept of the Autobot Road was Ultra Magnus' brain-child. Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers issue 4
Notes
- The Global Space Bridge from Robots in Disguise was inspired by the Autobot Road. Later, when Robots in Disguise was retconned into the Generation 1 cartoon continuity in Japan, the Global Space Bridge became the Autobot Road. Yeah.
