Transformer twins often share a closer connection than other forms of Transformer relatives.
Generation 1 continuity
Sideswipe and Sunstreaker were fraternal[1] twin brothers.[2] Fiction at the time never explored the details of this relationship, or if there was such a thing as identical twins.
Later fiction (incorporating the concepts of sparks and protoforms retroactively) revealed that brothers were formed when a spark that wes being introduced to a protoform naturally split. More Than Meets The Eye
