The Rite of Oneness is a Cybertronian custom from the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
When a Pinky Swear just isn't enough.

The Rite of Oneness is one of the most sacred Cybertronian rituals. No Autobot has ever broken it. It is used to cement agreements. All participants contribute a bit of their most precious bodily fluid—their fuel—into a vessel. The fuel is then burned. To break the pact is to forfeit one's very life.
