Because "Island of Fear" is a multipath adventure, what happens next depends on the path you take through the book:
  • You use the electonic jammer on Beachcomber and a Denebian Stalker Furmanises you.
  • You hide the electronic jammer inside Dirge's giant volcano-piercing laser and it explodes, ruining both his plan and the Nali islanders' crops.
  • You threaten Dirge with the electronic jammer and he retreats. You leave it with the islanders so that they can ward him off should he return.
