Transformers Legends

Hot, oiled girl-on-girl action.
No seriously, there are flame-throwing characters on both sides and they're female robots fighting one another.
"Fatal Furies"
Release date April 29, 2013
May 6, 2013

Only Flamewar can save the Decepticons from Elita 1's maniacal dreams of liberation!

Synopsis

Elita 1's all-female squadron visits havoc upon Decepticon bases all around the world! The Decepticon Flamewar, Arcee's arch-nemesis, hatched a plan to destroy them by leading them into a trap!

The Decepticons scour all parts of the Earth to uncover Elita 1's warriors and manage to break their offensive.

Notes

  • The episode title "Fatal Furies" refers to the Erinyes vengeful female spirits in Greek mythology also known as "Furies." In this context it would refer to Flamewar and Slipstream rather than Elita 1's Squadron.
  • The Decepticons win in the event's story, a frequent occurrence in this game.
  • Arcee, Elita 1 and Chromia are all portrayed as having motorcycle altmodes during this event, like their movie-verse toys. Firestar, who had no established altmode in any fiction, is portrayed as a pickup truck. However all of of their robot modes are drawn directly from the 1985 cartoon episode "The Search for Alpha Trion", with no trace of their new altmodes. (Try not to think about it too hard.)
  • Elita One's name is consistently parsed as Elita 1 during this event, establishing a fourth canonical way to write the name alongside Elita One, Elita-One and Elita 1.
  • Arcee is blue just like her Prime-continuity counterpart. Honestly, it looks good on her.
  • Arcee is part of this lineup of Elita 1's squadron. It's not the first time. Further, the episode specifically mentions that Elita 1 assembled this version of her Squadron for this campaign, to operate on Earth.
  • This episode weighs in on the issue of whether or not the Female Autobots are a description or a proper noun by capitalizing "Elita 1's Squadron" in the event story and decapitalizing "female Autobots" in her bio.
