| This article is about the franchise. For the species of Transformer, see Alternity. |

Transformers: Alternity (トランスフォーマー オルタニティ) is a toyline started by TakaraTomy in 2009. It is the successor to the Binaltech toyline. It features licensed vehicle alternate modes in its toys, as well as a mixture of plastic and die-cast metal. Toys are scaled down from their previous Binaltech/Alternators proportions, now being 1:32 scale rather than 1:24, and roughly equivalent in size to the mainline "deluxe" size class.
Fiction
Like Binaltech, Alternity's continuity is established by pack-in fiction.
- "From Here to Alternity" (text story)
- "To Mega Therion" (text story)
- "Arch-Nemesis!" (comic)
- "To Die Game!" (comic)
- "The World Is Flat!" (text story)
- "Ace of Swords" (text story)
- "Foreshadows" (text story)
- "Hunt for the Planicrons" (text story)
- "Nissan GT-R / Ultra Magnus (Brilliant Pearl White)" (comic)

Notes

- To pitch the Alternity line, Hironori Kobayashi enlisted the help of Hirofumi Ichikawa, who produced a concept image of an Alternity Meister. A large amount of the design was put to use on Alternity Convoy once the line was approved.
- While it's unknown whether it's a product of coincidence or a deliberate reference by Ichikawa, the term "Alternity" (plural "Alternaties") was used by fan (later pro) writer James Roberts in his unofficial 2001 novel Eugenesis to refer to parallel realities.
