Scraphook
From MediaWiki
- Scraphook is an Autobot-allied Junkion Weaponizer from the Legacy portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The toughened and fearless new Junkion cadet Scraphook is built like a particularly heavy truck.[1] This bruiser is of average intelligence and isn't terribly fast, but his powerful dual phaser blasters unleash disabling electromagnetic energy pulses. Scraphook can also lend parts of himself to other Junkions to serve as armor, or even combine with other Junkions to form combiners![2] And if everyone else is busy, he's proficient in delivering his own "elbow hook drop" and his patented "junkpile driver." Wait, how did he lose the eye?[3]

Toys
Legacy

- Scraphook (Deluxe Class, 2023)
- TakaraTomy ID number: TL-30
- TakaraTomy release date: May 27, 2023
- Accessories: Tow-arm, tow hook, left & right exhaust pipes, wheel shield, 2 engine-blower "dual phaser blasters"
- Known designers: Mark Maher (Hasbro), Takio Ejima (TakaraTomy), Marcelo Matere and Dan Khanna (concept art)[4]
- Part of the first wave of Deluxes in Legacy: Evolution, Scraphook transforms into a junky, post-apocalyptic, weirdly-symmetrical-damage-having tow truck. He is outfitted with seven different accessories, which can all be integrated into his truck mode. His wheels are separated from his hubcaps, meaning any accessories plugged into the rims' 5 mm holes similarly don't spin.
- Scraphook's Evo-Fusion function is analogous to the Weaponizer gimmick from the War for Cybertron Trilogy toylines: his body splits apart to form armor and weapon enhancements for his allies. Unlike previous figures of this nature however, Scraphook does not need to be disassembled to change from robot to truck and back.
- As per designer Mark Maher, Scraphook is pointedly color-matched to the Junkions' fearless leader Studio Series 86-09 Voyager Class Wreck-Gar.[4]
- This figure was scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2023 but arrived at Philippine retail in late November 2022.
- Scraphook was later retooled into fellow (well... not so fellow) Junkion Axlegrease.
Notes

- One of Scraphook's earlier designs[3] (from when he transformed backwards from how the final toy transforms) makes an appearance on the Legacy: Evolution packaging mural.
