Optimus Prime crash-lands on a strange planet and tries to find an Autobot ally... or at the very least, someone who's not looking to destroy him.
Synopsis
Optimus Prime plummets through the air, seemingly unconscious, as he hears Bumblebee shouting desperately. He comes to and ungracefully flails in his free-fall, slamming right into some thick tree branches before landing in a jungle. He gets an unexpected firmware update which disorients him and makes his field of vision acquire what looks like a gaming HUD. Unimpressed with the bio-organic fauna of the planet, he discovers a desert right outside of the jungle. After a short trek over one of the dunes, he discovers an Autobot ship. Hoping to find an ally, he approaches and calls out to whoever may be inside, only to receive a nasty shock when Scorponok bursts out of the sand. After an attempt to take out his energon-axe fails, and it becomes clear Scorponok isn't interested in talking, Optimus flees back into the jungle. Scorponok, unable to follow him, leaves.
Optimus discovers the energon readings in the area are spiking, and a blue cube appears out of the ground. As Optimus takes it, he absorbs it, and his level meter at the top of his screen goes up. No sooner has this happened that a shout accusing him of being a thief erupts from the jungle, along with an angry Dinobot. Uninterested in Optimus' attempt to make peace, Grimlock attacks him, then gives chase. Some clever maneuvering on Optimus' part causes Grimlock to get his head stuck between two branches, allowing him to escape.
Looking up, Optimus sees a falling Autobot escape pod in the sky, and follows its trail in the hope that Bumblebee is inside. A jump cut reveals that Bumblebee has also crash-landed, and is having trouble getting used to a firmware update of his own. However, he's soon distracted by heavy footsteps behind him. Hopeful it's an ally, he turns around, only to meet Megatron...

Notes
Continuity notes
- Optimus Prime and Bumblebee arrive on Cyberworld, unaware of where they are and what it is. Scorponok, Grimlock, and Megatron all appear to have been there longer. Grimlock is the only one to give an estimate of his time there, having waited for the energon cube to spawn for "weeks".
- Optimus and Bumblebee have their firmware updated for compatibility with the planet's "system".
Transformers references
- Optimus comments that the planet is certainly not Cybertron.
- Bumblebee, a bit prematurely, thanks Primus that he's not alone in his new surroundings.
