Grimlock is an Autobot from Cyberworld.
Some people think they can outsmart me. Maybe, maybe. I have yet to meet one that can outsmart bullet.

On Cyberworld, might can easily make right, and Grimlock, leader and self-proclaimed king of the Dinobots, certainly has the might to back up his version of right. With his powerful jaws, triple-barrelled cannon arm, and other Dinobots prepared to back him up at a moment's notice, he is a powerful and feared opponent -- which is unfortunate for those who run afoul of his hair-trigger temper. Seriously, don't ask him for any grammar lessons.

Pretty sure the joke here is obvious.

Grimlock happened upon a newly-arrived Optimus Prime stealing his rightfully claimed Energon cube in the Cyberworld jungle. Uninterested in making peace, he tried to attack the Prime, chasing him in his dinosaur mode until Prime trapped him between two branches. Commence Program He was able to escape and continue his pursuit of Prime fairly quickly, but Prime again trapped to escape, this time tangling him in jungle vines. Prime Target With his fellow Dinobot, Snarl, they made plans to acquire a nearby crate drop and give themselves a boost in power. Finding Optimus Prime and Bumblebee going for the same crate, they engaged in combat across a mudpool. Prime and Bee were able to trap them in mud while they scaled the cliff, but the Dinobots were able to quickly catch up, riding a rock propelled by a nearby geyser. It was not enough to stop Bumblebee claiming the crate and its weapons for his team, though, and after a trouncing, the Dinobots cut their losses and left. Crate Point, Well Fought

His next meeting with Prime and Bumblebee, as well as their newly recruited friend Elita-1 came when they were seeking out his help for taking on Scorponok. With Snarl having been watching and recording them, Grimlock knew this, and outright refused, seeing them as weak. Prime challenged him, one-to-one, in a Hunter vs Hunted mission, where if Prime won, he would agree to help, but if Grimlock won, then Prime and his allies would serve Grimlock. Initially, Grimlock had the upper hand, keeping Prime on his toes until the roles changed, where he began hunting the Autobot leader, but eventually Prime was able to outwit him, use his own jungle traps against him, and win. Grimlock upheld his half of the bargain, even as Snarl warned that this might jeopardise "the truce". Hunter vs Hunted Now part of the Autobot team, they attempted to find more energon, only to be met by Megatron. Megatron chastised Grimlock for violating their truce by teaming up with his nemesis, as the mission module began - a race to the summit of a series of platforms. Grimlock was selected by Optimus Prime to play, alongside Elita-1. While she said to his face she didn't trust him, he still saved her from a boulder trap, with her in turn rescuing him from a magnet trap. Unfortunately, Megatron still knocked him right down to the ground, and the Autobots lost the challenge. With Megatron making threats, Grimlock advised they would have to fight Scorponok soon, before he returned. What Goes Up

I am Heavy Weapons Guy...and this...is my weapon.
  • Environment: Jungle
  • Accessories: Upper jaw, cannon barrel
Part of the larger assortment of Cyberworld toys, Grimlock transforms from roughly 9-inch tall robot to a kinda goofy-looking robotic T. rex in four simple steps. Converting back to robot mode is mostly accomplished via spring-loaded autotransformation gimmicks; folding down the panel that hides his robot-mode head causes the head to pop up, and his torso to automatically rotate back into place.
Both his arms have an action feature gimmick: his right arm, formed from his T. rex head, has a spring-loaded chomping jaw, and his left arm features a button-activated spinning gatling gun. Each of the gun's three barrels is Fire Blast effect compatible, and the whole barrel assembly is removable.
As a larger toy, he has a several ways to interact with smaller Cyberworld figures. In T. rex mode, they can ride atop his back with the aid of a strut that slides out of the top of his right shoulder, featuring a 5 mm post that any small figure can plug into. Additionally, his robot mode can be reconfigured into a mech suit for small figures to pilot. Finally, his arms can be disconnected below the elbow and combined into a turret for smaller figures to sit on, which is presented in the Cyberworld cartoon as a hoverbike.
His arms feature the same connection ports as Scorponok, allowing you to swap his limbs with the Decepticon if you want.
