User:ShyAndroid

Hi!!! I'm ShyAndroid (obvs) :) You can call me Neo, though, if you'd like! Or not, username's fine too. They/them, please.

About Me
I like handling stuff that tends to slip through the cracks. Everyone's excited about the next big comic, but those licensed toys that you found at Dollar Tree? That flash game from a decade ago? Rescue Bots mobile games with paywalls no adult fan is paying through just to play a toddler game? (Myself included, mind you, I work with whatever info I can freely scrape up.) It takes effort to know those things exist, let alone to sit down and write an article about them. Transformers has a lot of content and media that appeals to the target demographic, but not the collectors and, well, adults who gather on TfWiki. I like filling those gaps.
I love Googling things. I love combing through eBay listings or the Wayback Machine, seeking scraps of info. And I love flash games. Flash games are a special interest of mine, so I focus on them somewhat, but I really write about whatever niche things catch my eye.
Beyond my focuses in regards to article creation, I like fixing typos, grammar errors, and other general cleanup as I see the opportunities. Really, I just want to make this wiki as high-quality and comprehensive a resource as possible!
While you can't trout me like on Wikipedia, sadly, feel free to discuss on my talk page if I make a mistake! Thank you :)

Articles I'm Working On Creating
When I'm in an article-creating mood, I usually have a couple projects kicking around. Some are on my computer alone, but at least one'll be kicking around in my sandbox. I've recently gotten into the habit of properly starting separate sandboxes for the different articles I'm working on, but I do still have an anything-goes sandbox to put my random stuff in. Drop by any of these if you want to see some projects in an obviously unfinished state! Fun :)
Current Sandboxes
- Star Wars: Naboo Rescue. A Star Wars Transformers flash game. I'm probably not the best person to tackle Star Wars stuff, but let's be real. If I don't write it, who will?
- Poptropica, a technically-non-defunct-somehow virtual-world-esque platform adventure puzzle flash game thing.
The TODO List
I have a ton of article ideas and a brain that has trouble maintaining one task at a time. So, the dozens of articles that are still waiting to be written, are here. If you'd like to use this as a prompt list for yourself, be my guest.
Broad Categories
- Articles for all the flash games that still need them--at least those I can still access. RIP Cyber Planet Key Chase. A lot of the ones from the old Hasbro site still need writeups.
- Picture books have a lot of missing or 'shell' articles without real substance--fill those out the best I can with my resources (Note: this is a thing that Could Cost Money, which i would like to avoid if possible.)
- Check for more food sponsors without dedicated articles. I'm sure they exist.
Specifics
- Create article for Lunchables--there's info about promotions scattered across the wiki, but a lot is missing and there's no one central hub for it all.
- Sonic Drive-In. Had promotion with the last knight including slushies, and also... earthspark spoon toy things?
- Make article for Forever Clever, and incorporate their other products into articles relating to the relevant characters.
- Other Transformers licensed products. Podpals plushies, the spinners from Fidget It (cubes are covered in merch but no article yet,) Action Micro Figures, a couple G1 figures I know showed up in Dollar Tree before. Peachtree Playthings has also made a variety of trinkets.
- Cover Battle Cubes game. I half-finished this before abandoning the project so it still should be in my Sandbox history.
- Budge Studios and their mobile games. Use Youtube so I don't have to pay money for games meant for literal toddlers, since most have paywalls somewhere. PlayDate Digital also seems to have some Rescue Bots games that aren't covered, but only one is free to even start.
- https://news.tfw2005.com/2024/05/23/salesone-transformers-optimus-prime-bumblebee-best-friend-necklace-set-more-items-512214 jewelery from Hot Topic. At least get it onto merch pages. High priority. Reason: I want one.
- Irregular Choice. https://www.irregularchoice.com/collections/transformers I want these too.
- M&M's Trucking Co., the game featured on the M&M's website circa 2009. Video here, I could probably also scrape up a couple images too, though info's scarce.
- And of course, actually finish the pile of things in my ever-growing sandbox.
