- Growl is a Decepticon Micromaster in the Generation 1 continuity family.
Growl is a sadistic bully who finds that his desire to maim and kill suits him perfectly for the Military Patrol. He occasionally makes noises about replacing Bombshock as team leader, but that's mostly just because everyone else says that, and he doesn't want to look weak. He'll actually go on happily following orders forever, so long as they involve killing things.[1]

- Military Patrol (Micromaster Patrol, 1990)
- Growl transforms into an orange armored transport. Unusually for a Micromaster figure, his gun can be detached from the roof of this vehicle mode and attached to either of his arms. He is identical to the Autobot Growl from the Japanese Battlestars line.
