Paleotrex
From MediaWiki
- Paleotrex is a Predacon Fossilizer from the Kingdom portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

65 million years in the making, Paleotrex transforms into the fossilized remains of a mighty Tyrannosaurus rex, also able to separate into skeletal armor and weaponry for his comrades, thanks to the F.O.S.S.I.L. Technology.

- Part of the first wave of War for Cybertron: Kingdom Deluxe Class figures, Paleotrex transforms from skeletal Tyrannosaurus to robot and back. As a Fossilizer, Paleotrex can split into weapons and armor compatible with the C.O.M.B.A.T. System for use by other War for Cybertron Trilogy figures. The joint to flip down Paleotrex's "mask" can pass as an opening mouth for the masked robot mode head as well.
- Due to having tiny feet and a very oddly proportioned body in robot mode, the figure is limited in the ways it can be posed without falling over.
- In Japan, Paleotrex was released as a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive.
Notes

- When the "mask" is flipped down, Paleotrex's robot mode head is based on Optimus Primal's spiky mace.
- While unknown if it was intentional or just a bizarre coincidence, the fact that the mask flips down over the robot head makes for an interesting callback to the first-year Beast Wars figures that used the "Mutant Head" gimmick.
