This article is about the Decepticon Micromaster. For his Japanese Autobot counterpart, see Excavator (ROC).

Excavator is a Decepticon Micromaster in the Generation 1 continuity family.
Don't mess with this guy. His fists are bigger than his head.

Excavator would probably be perfectly happy as an Autobot, so long as he got to build things. He prefers to quietly gather supplies and tools in anticipation of the Constructor Squad's next project, and then throws himself into the actual work with enthusiasm and excitement.<a href="#cite_note-0" title="">[1]</a>

His combiner partner is Stonecruncher.

Fiction

Generation 1

  • Constructor Squad (Micromaster Combiner Squad, 1990)
Excavator transforms into a crane trailer which is intended the back half of a yellow crane truck, which he forms with his combiner partner Stonecruncher. He can, of course, be connected to any other Micromaster Combiner.
Excavator was only available in a six-pack with his squad mates Stonecruncher, Grit, Hammer, Knockout and Sledge.
His mold was also used to make the Autobot Surge.
