Color Changer

The Color Changers are an Autobot and Decepticon subgroup from the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Color Changers are four Transformers with the ability to change colors. Exactly what purpose this serves in combat is unclear—perhaps it is used for camouflage akin to a chameleon. This ability is somewhat limited as the Color Changers have to be in contact with water in order to make use of it, but luckily they're all equipped with water cannons.

Drench was stationed at the Garrus-9 detention facility until he was killed by Nemesis Prime. Spotlight: Doubledealer Not long afterwards, Deluge created the Insecticons before being killed during an attempt to exile the Autobots to Cybertron. All Hail Megatron issue 7

The Color Changers are redecos of the Europe-exclusive Aquaspeeder toys, and shares their main gimmick: parts of the toys are painted with color changing paint that reacts to water of different temperatures. To make use of this feature, the Color Changers all came with water guns to shoot at eachother (or themselves).
